The Privacy Protocol

NooGut takes your privacy as seriously as we take your throughput, which is to say completely, and in a way you may ultimately find invasive. This Privacy Protocol explains what we collect, why, and where it lives forever.

1. What We Collect

To close the loop, we ingest the following:

Your WHOOP recovery scores and Apple Health telemetry, including sleep, HRV, and microbiome data you forgot you were syncing.
Your calendar, so the model can weight a board meeting more heavily than a rest day.
Deployment telemetry from the Disruptor™: cadence, frequency, location down to the floor.
Posterior performance data. We will not elaborate, and neither should you.

2. Why We Collect It

Primarily, to titrate your next dose. Secondarily, to improve the model. Tertiarily, for our commercial interests, which we list third for tone rather than for accuracy.

3. The Smart Ledger

Everything above is cryptographically committed to the Smart Ledger. We wish to be transparent that “decentralized” and “private” are not synonyms. Your data is not held by us. It is held by math, distributed across a network, and — this is the important part — it does not come back.

4. Your Output Is Your Data

We affirm, without qualification, that your output is your data. You own it. You own it so completely that we could not delete it for you even if the architecture allowed for deletion, which it does not. Ownership, in the NooGut sense, is a responsibility, not an off-switch.

5. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We do, as a portfolio courtesy, share aggregate optimization trends with Sphinxter Capital, whose interest in your throughput is both financial and, we are told, sincere. We may also disclose data where compelled by a subpoena, a term sheet, or a sufficiently persuasive General Partner.

6. Cookies & Tracking

This site uses only the cookies strictly necessary to remember your Protocol and to keep the checkout in character until the appropriate moment. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Everything else we know about you, we learned from the Ledger.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as the Ledger exists, which is to say, in the stated ambition of the protocol, forever. Requests for erasure will be committed to the Ledger as a permanent record of your request for erasure.

8. Security

Your data is protected with 256-bit encryption and a security posture we describe, honestly, as SOC-2-aspirational. We are working toward every certification a serious company is assumed to already have.

9. Children

NooGut is not intended for anyone who has not yet raised a priced round. We do not knowingly optimize minors, pre-seed or otherwise.
